Overview:
The IECEx Certified Single Toxic Gas Monitor, the SC-8000, has the ability to detect some of the most common toxic gases; Silane (SiH4), Phosphine (PH3), Arsine (AsH3), Ammonia (NH3), Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Chlorine (Cl2) and Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), and many others. With its large LCD display the readings combined with the IECEx ensures this device is ideal for some of the most dangerous applications. The fact that a user is able to view the instrument when wearing a Hazmat suit shows how adaptable this device is for even the harshest industry applications. For loud environments the unit is equipped with a 95dB alarm together with three bright LED lamps, making alarm conditions both audible and visible in any situation.
The SC-8000 IECEx Certified Single Toxic Gas Monitor sets the new industry standard for rugged, reliable portable gas detection. Its tough, water proof design utilises features based on years of gas detection design experience, to assure that the instrument will operate properly to protect workers and property in all kinds of harsh gas detection applications. The SC-8000 IECEx Certified Single Toxic Gas Monitor model has a powerful in-built suction pump.
The large, LCD display, shows a digital value of the component gas concentration. In loud environments the highly bright LED lamps are arranged in three directions making the unit visible from all angles.
Some of the most common toxic gases that the SC-8000 detects are Silane (SiH4), Phosphine (PH3), Arsine (AsH3), Ammonia (NH3), Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Chlorine (Cl2) and Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) and many others.
