OH&S Announces 2019 New Product of the Year Award Winners
DALLAS, August 19, 2019 – Twenty companies, including multiple winners Blackline Safety and Honeywell, were honored today for winning Occupational Health & Safety magazine’s 11th annual New Product of the Year contest. Winners will be recognized with awards next month and in the November/December issue of Occupational Health & Safety magazine. They are also featured on Occupational Health & Safety’s industry-leading website, ohsonline.com.
This year’s contest attracted entries in 24 award categories, with an independent panel of three highly qualified judges choosing the winners.
“OH&S’ New Product of the Year contest saw an outstanding number of entries that prove industry manufacturers are dedicated to producing products that not only function to optimize worker safety, but also are comfortable, practical and convenient,” Sydny Shepard, editor of OH&S, said. “Entries this year received top remarks from the judges, complimenting their efforts on bringing more innovative products to the industry.”

The 2019 contest’s judges were Linda J. Sherrard, CSP, former technical editor of Occupational Health & Safety; Greg Zigulis, CIH, CSP, president of Sixth Sense Safety Solutions; and Camille Oakes, CSP, SMS, president of Camille Oakes Consulting, LLC.
To be eligible for the 2019 awards, products must have been introduced to the market between July 2018 and July 2019. The 2019 award winners are:
