Hawk PH3 Fumigation Gas Monitor Overview
The Hawk PH3 Fumigation Gas Monitor is a lightweight, battery-powered instrument suitable for both portable and fixed-mounted monitoring of phosphine gas levels during the fumigation process. The rugged enclosure protects the instrument in harsh environments. Instrument setup and interrogation are achieved via a dedicated phone app.
Measurement data is transmitted via the cellular network at intervals that the user can pre-set for the specific job type and duration. Live data can be transmitted to a cloud-based dashboard. Data sent to a cloud-based dashboard can be viewed/reviewed at any time from any location, enabling both live monitoring and post-job analysis or auditing, reducing the need for daily site visits.
The Hawk is designed to report on all stages of the fumigation process, including at low fumigant levels. The sensor is only exposed to gas for the short period that gas is being sampled, resulting in a much longer sensor life than conventional diffusion sensing methods.
A grain spear and associated accessories are available for the instrument, which can be inserted into grain piles to monitor fumigation gas levels within the bunker.
