GX-6100 Portable Benzene Gas Detector Overview
The GX-6100 Benzene personal detector is a lightweight and convenient-to-carry monitor, weighing in at only 600 grams, including the rubber boot. Simply put, the GX-6100 is a game changer with Benzene-specific measuring mode..
With a library of over 300 VOC’s and the addition of the highly selective 10.0 eV PID sensor, including BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene) family of VOC’s up to 100 ppm. By using filtering tubes and the tube holder, the GX-6100 can monitor specifically for Benzene at a range of 0 – 50ppm (with resolutions as small as 0.01) by filtering out all other VOC’s. The filter tube holder features a unique breakaway design to prevent damage in the event of accidental impact. The filter tube also has a safe and convenient glass breaker for the filter tube tips.
The GX-6100 is the only PID instrument in the market with the ability to utilise two PID sensors in one instrument. When using the broad range 10.6eV PID for preliminary investigation, it is possible to switch to benzene mode for a highly accurate measurement.
The GX-6100 features a rugged design designed for the most demanding environments. It is equipped with a removable impact-resistant rubber boot and a dust and water-resistant enclosure with an IP-67 rating. With five bright LED lights on three sides of the instrument, alarms are easily visible from a variety of perspectives. With vibration and a loud audible alarm, GX-6100 will easily alert users when needed.
