Oxygen Gas Detector Overview
This Oxygen Gas Detector is ideally suited for laboratory environments. The oxygen Sensor has been designed to be used in conjunction with a Beacon controller. Matched with a siren and strobe, the O2 system can be used as a standalone system or integrated into a full BMS System.
The Control Equipment oxygen sensor/transmitter is a highly reliable, cost-effective 4-20 mA transmitter. The electronics are encased in a potted package to protect against mechanical abuse and corrosion, and the amplifier is installed in a cast aluminium enclosure. The oxygen sensor utilises an internal I.S. barrier, so is suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres.
The oxygen sensor can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors utilise a patented coating that makes them water-repellent, and splash guards are also available for use in wet environments. The transmitter operates from 24 VDC (10.5VDC to 30 VDC), and provides a 4-20mA signal which can be directly connected to the Beacon series controllers and various other controllers.
