Automatic Natural Gas Leak Detection System Overview
LMS Remote Mini is a stationary natural gas leak detection system for remote 360o monitoring of elevated methane gas concentrations in ambient air at a distance of up to 50m with a greater degree of tilt capability. It is specifically designed for the constant scanning and monitoring of mission-critical areas.
LMS Remote Mini is based on the utilisation of a laser absorption spectrophotometer for methane gas detection and measurement. The system detects natural gas leaks by emitting a laser at a particular wavelength and analysing the light reflection from an object to determine how much was absorbed by the methane in natural gas.
