Surveyor XP40 Optical Particle Counter Overview
The Surveyor XP40 Dust Monitor is a powerful, portable instrument designed for real-time spot measurement of airborne dust and particulate emissions. Capable of detecting particles from 0.3 μm to 40 μm, the Surveyor XP40 provides accurate measurement of mass concentration and particle counts, making it an ideal solution for environmental monitoring and industrial dust assessments.
Engineered for demanding field environments, the Surveyor XP40 measures dust concentrations up to 30,000 µg/m³, enabling reliable monitoring even in high-dust applications such as mining, construction, and roadside monitoring. Alongside mass concentration, the instrument simultaneously displays particle counts per litre (#/L), providing deeper insight into airborne particle behaviour and exposure levels.
Designed for portability and ease of deployment, the instrument weighs just 495 g and offers a typical runtime of up to 15 hours, allowing extended field use without interruption. Built-in connectivity features including a cloud-ready platform and onboard web server allow users to easily download and analyse data locally or remotely.
