XPS TITAN-DPM Diesel Particulate Matter Monitor Overview

The XPS TITAN-DPM is a new-generation, real-time diesel particulate matter (DPM) and ultrafine particle monitor. It combines two different particle-measurement technologies in a single instrument, allowing it to monitor the main chemical components of Diesel Engine Emissions (DEE), including particulate matter down to 10 nanometres and toxic gases.

The XPS TITAN-DPM combines two complementary particle measurement technologies:

Diffusion charging provides measurement of particles in the ultrafine range, including particle number and lung-deposited surface area.

Optical particle counting measures larger particles and provides conventional particulate measurements including PM1, PM2.5, PM4.25, PM10 and TSP.

The result is a much broader view of airborne particulate matter than a conventional dust monitor can provide.

XPS TITAN- DPM – “Any pollutants. Every requirement. All in one.”  A comprehensive real-time diesel exhaust and particulate monitoring station — from ultrafine particles through to conventional dust fractions, with gases and environmental parameters available from the same platform.

The XPS TITAN-DPM provides occupational hygienists, mine operators, engineers and environmental professionals with a new tool for investigating diesel particulate and ultrafine particle exposure in real time.

For industries where diesel engines are essential, it provides an opportunity to move beyond simply measuring dust and towards a more complete understanding of diesel emissions.

Pair with the dustech.live cloud platform and get simpler, faster, accurate, and more reliable DEE monitoring than ever before.
